One suggestion: you could use transparent background for logo in header.

The theme which you have is very good , but my suggestion is

1. If the logo is made transparent then it will be more nice than now

2. Also the maroon color for heading font size is more larger ,so if it is reduced then it will looker more cool than now

But overall i like your dedication and contribution
